Private Lessons

When dancers plateau in their training, find themselves unsure what to work on, or need a second pair of eyes on a choreography, private lessons are a great way to get objective, focused attention from an experienced teacher.

After an inquiry is submitted, Drake will reach out to discuss your goals and figure out a training plan via email. After payment is remitted, the lesson will be scheduled either in-person or on Zoom.

Drake is open to working privately with students on technical mastery (general technique, and Dance Cohesion technique), conceptual skills (stage presence, musicality), and other peripheral topics (historical lecture, makeup and grooming, etc.).

Testimonials.

  • “I’ve had the pleasure of taking classes with Drake since he started teaching. We all know how awesome he is as a performer, but what’s equally awesome is his teaching style. Patience, humor, adaptability… regardless of who is in the class, the way he guides you and breaks each element down is effortless. He shares his unique style and opens up his toolkit without hesitation. I cannot express how wonderful and important that is as a student of dance.”
